- ECN formally releases the change — can only be created from an approved Design Review.
- ECN Gate blocks Material Requests and Work Orders for items without a released ECN.
02Drawing Vault & Revision Control
- Multi-format support — PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, GLB, 3MF, JT, and more.
- Browser-based CAD viewer with STEP/IGES → GLB tessellation and three.js WASM rendering.
- Check-out / check-in with single-writer locking. Google Drive, OneDrive, NAS/SMB, S3, SFTP backends.
- Queue-based sync every 10 minutes, daily reconciliation, Windows desktop agent.
03AI Drawing Intelligence & Estimation
- YOLOv8 + OCR auto-detects dimensions, GD&T frames, and balloon callouts from engineering drawings.
- Creates Quality Inspection Templates automatically from extracted characteristics.
- ML predicts cost, routing, and machining time from CAD geometry for new revisions.

A drawing revision is released. BISE PLM automatically stands down in-flight Work Orders on the old revision, disposes WIP through an NCR, re-launches production on the new baseline, and flags PPAP re-evaluation — all in one auditable cascade.
